Beynac Castle

The Château de Beynac is a remarkably well-preserved French Fortress. A military construction by excellence, it was built on the top of a limestone cliff flanked by prehistoric shelters. The location was highly strategic as it overlooked the Dordogne. Don’t hesitate to go there by climbing the cliff from the bottom of the village of Beynac-et-Cazenac, classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
