Commarque Castle

Built in through the 12th and 14th centuries, the Commarque castle is the most odd castle complex in Southern Périgord, with its intricate defences, successive moats, concentric ramparts and the vertiginous vertigo of its 80 metres high dungeon, built in fine stonework and overlooking a preserved and protected natural setting in the Vézère Valley.
